Step-by-Step
Phase 1: Unlocking Permanent Speed (You’ll Never Walk Slow Again)
The Speed Potion is a game-changer, and here’s the best way to get it:
- In the Anatomy & Alchemy tree, unlock Alchemy Depot and Advanced Alchemy.
- Build the Alchemy Workbench II in your basement. This requires 6 Wooden Beams, 3 Advanced Conical Flasks, and Steel Parts.
- Crafting (The Hard Way): The recipe is Acceleration Powder (from Hemp/Honey) + Chaos Solution (from Bat Wing/Moth) + Blood (from corpses). Use the new potion immediately — your movement speed will drastically increase.
- The Easy Way (Best Strategy): Once you’ve crafted it once, buy all your Speed Potions from Clotho (the Witch) at the swamp for just 1 Silver Coin each, as it is much cheaper and easier than crafting. Always keep 15-20 in stock!
Phase 2: Merchant’s Store — The Golden Goose
This is your new best friend for generating Gold Coins.
- Acquire the License: On the Merchant’s day, go to him and buy the Operating License for 50 Silver Coins.
- Build the Factory: Unlock the Crate Factory technology and build it right outside your house (near the basement entrance).
- Increase Market Level: You start only being able to sell one crate, but you can sell up to ten. You need to use 90 Pamphlets to reach Market Level 3, which unlocks all 10 selling pallets.
Tip: Buy your Ink and Quills from the Astrologer to craft the pamphlets in the church basement.
Build the Market Horns in the merchant’s storage area (up the hidden staircase south of your vineyard) to unlock all ten slots. - Crate Production & Strategy: Use the Crate Factory to turn high-quality crops into shipping crates. The best item for profit is the Golden Quality Pumpkin.
- Automation is Key: Craft a Zombie Carrier and place him at the Zombie Transport Station near the factory. This Zombie will automatically move your finished crates from the basement to the Merchant’s selling pallets for you.
- Milestone: Fully load all 10 pallets with Golden Crates. You will receive over 1 Gold Coin after the Merchant leaves for the day. Repeat this every week!
Phase 3: Quest Milestones
Inquisitor’s Recurring Mission (Maximizing Silver)
Before moving to the main Inquisitor quest, exploit the temporary one:
- On the Inquisitor’s day, make sure your 10 Golden Beers and 5 Golden Hamburgers are on the Altar of Offerings.
- Select “Everything is ready for the next pyre.”
- Repeat this delivery and dialogue for a total of three consecutive weeks to maximize your Silver Coin earnings before moving on to his main mission.
Church Quality 50 (Boosting Faith)
Higher church quality equals more Faith from sermons, which is necessary for making more Zombies.
- Buy 12 Silk from the Merchant. Craft and install 6 Soft Benches.
- Unlock and craft the Candelabra II and Wall Lamp.
- Install enough items to hit the 50 Quality milestone. The Bishop will reward you and give the next big quest (Statues).
Inquisitor’s Dark Organ Quest
Once you’ve completed the three recurring food missions, the Inquisitor’s main mission begins: find the three Dark Organs (Heart, Brain, Intestines) from new corpses.
- Secret Tip: The moment you find a Dark Organ, do not deliver it yet! Instead, immediately take it to the Study Table in your basement. Each organ gives 100 Blue Points when studied — a massive gain of 300 Blue Points total.
- Once all three are found and studied, deliver them to the Inquisitor.
Cemetery Quality 200
This is required to advance the Bishop’s main quest after the Church Quality 50 milestone.
- Unlock Stone Gravestones, Stone Cross II, and Stone Fence II in the technology tree.
- Strategy (Flower Power): The most cost-effective and fastest way to increase quality is by crafting and installing tons of Flower Beds.
- Repair the fence and put in new stone and flower decorations until the Cemetery reaches 200 Quality.
Useful Tips
- Decoration Cap: When decorating a grave, the total decoration value (green skulls) cannot exceed the number of White Skulls on the corpse buried there. Don’t waste high-quality decorations on a low-quality body!
- Money: Selling Golden Pumpkin Crates should be your number one focus for money from now on.
- Blue Points: Always buy Blue Books/Notes from the Astrologer. Study the three Dark Organs before delivering them to the Inquisitor for 300 guaranteed Blue Points.
